Nico Paz officially joins Como, Juve opens Ekhator and Svilar fronts

The midday main course has a Spanish name: Nico Paz is now officially a Como player, 60 million paid to Real Madrid. As the World Cup files away another night of penalties, Juventus lays two new places at the table — Jeff Ekhator and Mile Svilar — while in the Premier League, Sunderland keeps shopping.

The signature dish comes from the lake. Calciomercato.co makes it official: «Nico Paz is officially a new Como player», arriving from Real Madrid for 60 million euros. For the Lombardy club it is the statement signing of an ambitious summer, turning into a contract what until yesterday was only a broad agreement.

On the Juventus front, the morning is the busiest. According to Calciomercato.co, Juventus are «in close contact with Genoa» for Jeff Ekhator, a striker valued at around 18 million euros, and in the same hours «have contacted Roma for Mile Svilar», the goalkeeper tipped as a possible heir between the posts. Two leads that add to a project already under way: the boards now treat as confirmed the arrival of Emiliano «Dibu» Martínez from Aston Villa and that of defender Jhon Lucumí from Bologna.

At Napoli the work runs in two opposite directions. Coming in, Rasmus Højlund from Manchester United remains on the home straight, while on the way out Calciomercato.co reports that «Genoa have asked for information» about Jens Cajuste, a midfielder now on the list of departures. Still in Serie A, Roma have a firm grip on Bryan Zaragoza from Bayern, and Milan recall young Francesco Camarda from his loan at Lecce.

Abroad, Sunderland are in charge and on a spree: within a few hours the boards certify the arrivals of Jobe Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, Enzo Le Fée from Roma and Granit Xhaka, a heavyweight treble for the English club. In La Liga the blow is Catalan — Nico Williams leaves Athletic Club for Barcelona — while Isco bids farewell to Betis for Sevilla. On the bench, meanwhile, Enzo Maresca is official at Manchester City, under contract until 2029.

And if the lunch break calls for dessert, Venezia serve up a double official announcement: after Armel Bella-Kotchap, signed from Hellas Verona for 10 million, the lagoon club have also announced Lorenzo Berardi from Pescara for one million. Enjoy: at midday the menu is already generous, and the afternoon promises more courses.
