Milan fire sale, Dibu nears Juve, Nico Williams to Barcelona

As the 2026 World Cup wraps up its group stage, the transfer market keeps moving: Milan complete a flurry of sales while Juventus close in on goalkeeper Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez. In La Liga, Barcelona push for Nico Williams; in the Premier League, Manchester United land Bryan Mbeumo and newly promoted Sunderland go on a spending spree.

In Serie A the day belongs to Milan, who reshape their squad with a series of departures: Samuel Chukwueze joins Fulham, Noah Okafor moves to Leeds United and Yunus Musah switches to Atalanta, while Suso heads for Sevilla. To bolster the attack, the Rossoneri have set their sights on Gonçalo Ramos of Paris Saint-Germain.

Juventus are accelerating in goal: Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez is on the verge of arriving from Aston Villa, while up front the target remains Kolo Muani, owned by Tottenham. Roma trim their squad by selling Tommaso Baldanzi to Genoa and Enzo Le Fée to Sunderland, and have all but wrapped up Bryan Zaragoza from Bayern Munich, on top of tracking Brighton's Evan Ferguson.

Also on the move are Lazio, who let goalkeeper Cristian Mandas leave for Bournemouth, and Fiorentina, who secure Jack Harrison from Leeds. Inter wave goodbye to Francesco Sensi, bound for CSKA Sofia, and are working on possible additions Oumar Solet (Udinese) and Curtis Jones (Liverpool), with Denzel Dumfries now on Real Madrid's radar.

The Como chapter: the Lake club lock down Nico Paz, arriving permanently from Real Madrid, and snap up Luis Milla from Getafe; according to Calciomercato.com, Como are also pressing for the young Liberali (born 2007). In Spain the spotlight is on Barcelona, reported to be closing in on Nico Williams from Athletic Club, while Getafe pull off a surprise coup in Mason Greenwood from Marseille; Real Madrid and Getafe, for their part, raise funds precisely through the departures of Nico Paz and Luis Milla to Como.

In the Premier League, Manchester United land Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. Newly promoted Sunderland are on a tear: after Jobe Bellingham (from Borussia Dortmund) and Enzo Le Fée (from Roma), they also welcome Granit Xhaka. Tottenham are advancing for defender Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth, Newcastle sell Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, while the hot targets include Victor Muñoz (Liverpool, from Osasuna), Marcos Cucurella (from Chelsea to Real Madrid) and Rasmus Hojlund, courted by Napoli on his way out of Manchester United.

In the background, the 2026 World Cup closed its group stage — with Messi's Argentina beating Jordan 3-1 and a record nine of ten African sides reaching the round of 32 — but the market stays centre stage: between deals nearing completion and targets still to unlock, the coming hours promise fresh moves across Serie A, La Liga and the Premier League.
