July 10 transfers: Dumfries to Real, Tonali to Spurs, Gila to Milan

A day of major signings: Denzel Dumfries is officially a Real Madrid player and Sandro Tonali is off to De Zerbi's Tottenham for 116 million. Inter cash in and reinvest — Khalaili has landed in Milan and Provedel signs from Lazio — while Milan wrap up Gila and Fiorentina double down with Atta and Dragusin.

The first move of the day belongs to Inter, sorting out the right flank. With Denzel Dumfries now officially at Real Madrid — as reported by Tuttosport, eurosport.it and Adnkronos — the Nerazzurri pushed through for Khalaili: the wide man, signed from Union Saint-Gilloise for around 25 million, has arrived in Milan, as shown by Sky Sport's footage. Also coming in is Ivan Provedel from Lazio, while Valentin Carboni leaves on a permanent deal to Parma, with the move confirmed by Corriere dello Sport.

On the other side of Milan, the Rossoneri have settled their defensive reinforcement: a deal is done for Mario Gila from Lazio, a 30-million operation with 50% of any future resale owed to Real Madrid, according to Sky Sport and eurosport.it. Lazio, for their part, are reshaping the squad on the way out: alongside Gila and Provedel, Muriqi is heading to Mallorca and Cristian Mandas to Bournemouth, while the club works to bring in Sergi Dominguez at the back.

Fiorentina land a double swoop: Momodou Atta arrives from Udinese in a deal worth close to 40 million — medicals are set, per Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport — and alongside him Dragusin joins from Tottenham. In Bergamo, Atalanta confirm the first signing of the Giuntoli era: it is Gianluca Gaetano, announced by Corriere dello Sport and Bergamonews. Napoli, meanwhile, are close to Dodo but — Napolicalcionews warn — must first free up space with a sale.

The middle of the table is moving too. Parma, besides Carboni, are closing in on Fazzini in agreement with Fiorentina, as SportParma confirms; Como pick up Luis Milla from Getafe, Genoa welcome Baldanzi from Roma and Udinese make Unai Gomez official from Athletic Bilbao. On the managerial front, Pisa part ways with Alberto Aquilani.

In the Premier League the biggest signature is Sandro Tonali's: the midfielder leaves Newcastle — the club's second most lucrative sale ever — and joins Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham in a 116-million operation, made official by Tuttosport and eurosport.it. Manchester United are pushing too: they have wrapped up Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, have Ederson in for a medical (Sky Sport) and have reached an agreement with Chelsea for Andrey Santos, a deal worth around 50 million.

In LaLiga the run of returns from Serie A is complete: Real Madrid embrace Dumfries, Villarreal take Matteo Gabbia from Milan and Mallorca wrap up Muriqi, while Celta Vigo let Oscar Mingueza go. A day of official announcements rather than open negotiations: the big clubs have sorted their priorities, and now the focus shifts to the sales needed to fund the moves still on the table.
