Milan and Juve accelerate: Moreira and Vicario, Lucumí official

A busy Monday, 17 August, in Serie A, with Milan and Juventus leading the way between official deals and moves nearing completion. La Liga and the Premier League are moving too, as Cristian Romero switches shirts and Ferran Torres leaves Barcelona.

Juventus were the busiest side of the day. Jhon Lucumí is officially a new Bianconeri player: he joins from Bologna for €19.5 million plus bonuses, as announced by Calciomercato.com and confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio. A few hours later came the green light for Guglielmo Vicario too: Calciomercato.com report "here we go" for the goalkeeper, with Juventus having reached an agreement with Tottenham on a loan with an option to buy.

Milan were equally active. According to Calciomercato.com it is "here we go" for Diego Moreira: an agreement has been reached with Strasbourg for a deal worth more than €40 million plus bonuses, with the medical being arranged. On the way out, the Rossoneri are sending David Odogu to Toulouse on a straight loan, while Bologna lose Remo Freuler, officially an Olympiacos player on a free transfer.

The strikers' chapter in Serie A. Fiorentina are standing firm on Moise Kean: according to Calciomercato.com the Viola want more than €30-35 million, while Como have tabled a first offer of €30 million split between a loan (€5 million) and an obligation to buy. Genoa are working on several fronts: they are close to Evan Ferguson and one step from Van der Brempt, on a loan with an obligation to buy on favourable terms.

A day of negotiations for Torino, Roma and others too. Torino are in talks with Elche for Aboukhlal, a possible loan with an option to buy, and are closing the sale of Ali Dembélé to Lecce along with Dalla Vecchia; Roma, reports Calciomercato.com, have had fresh contacts with Olympique Lyon for Malick Fofana, with figures deemed workable. Cagliari, meanwhile, are keeping Obert, rejecting an €8 million offer from Lens, while Monza and Pisa are closing a swap between Andrea Petagna and Idrissa Touré. At Inter, Di Marzio reports, Djed Spence underwent his fitness tests at CONI before becoming a Nerazzurri player to all effects.

The spotlight is also on La Liga and the Premier League. Gianluca Di Marzio reports Cristian Romero's move to Atlético Madrid as official: a five-year contract for a €40 million deal. Again according to Di Marzio, Ferran Torres' departure from Barcelona is also official, bound for PSG for €50 million on a five-year deal. From the Premier League comes confirmation of the Suzuki deal: the Parma goalkeeper, Di Marzio explains, is a step away from Aston Villa, with the medical scheduled in the coming hours.
