Liverpool's first win: an Isak double sinks Ipswich

At Portman Road, Liverpool beat Ipswich Town 2-0 on Premier League matchday three. The game was effectively settled in the first half: the Reds went in 2-0 up at the break, then managed the lead after the interval without conceding.

The star of the night was Alexander Isak. According to Corriere dello Sport, the striker scored both goals of the evening, delivering a win the side had been missing since the start of the season. In the same match, the paper reports, Barcola also made his debut in a Reds shirt.
