Savinho joins Tottenham: official move from Manchester City
Savinho is officially a new Tottenham player: the Brazilian winger arrives from Manchester City. Calciomercato.com reported GBP 75m, while Calciomercato.com itself and La Gazzetta dello Sport pointed to a deal worth around EUR 100m.
The deal is done. On the morning of 25 August, Calciomercato.com announced that Savinho is officially a Tottenham player, arriving from Manchester City. For the Brazilian winger it is a move from one Premier League club to another.
On the fee the sources do not fully match, and we report both as given: on its own channel Calciomercato.com mentioned GBP 75m, while on its website Calciomercato.com itself and La Gazzetta dello Sport pointed to an overall operation worth close to EUR 100m.
Tottenham, managed according to Calciomercato.com by Roberto De Zerbi, thus add reinforcement out wide. It is not a new name for Spurs: in recent weeks Sofascore had already linked Savinho to the London club, together with Nusa, precisely for the flanks.
The move also affects the rest of Tottenham's market: according to Eurosport, after sealing Savinho the Spurs are pushing for Omar Marmoush.
As things stand, the deal is reported as done and official by the cited sources, with no further formal steps flagged. Only the financial details remain to be clarified, given the two different figures reported.
