Summerville-Roma edging closer: only the West Ham deal is missing

Roma are getting ever closer to Crysencio Summerville: according to Pagine Romaniste, only the agreement with West Ham is now missing for the Dutch winger. The Giallorossi hope to close soon, with Aston Villa still watching in the background.

The negotiation between Roma and Crysencio Summerville has entered its decisive phase. In its latest update Pagine Romaniste describes West Ham's Dutch winger as «getting ever closer» to the Giallorossi: at this point «only the agreement with West Ham is missing» to complete the move.

The push began in recent days. Sky Sport had reported the meeting between Roma and the player's agents; once the talks ended, Pagine Romaniste said the club was awaiting West Ham's response, while Il Messaggero flagged «steps forward» with the ball in the Dutchman's court.

On the financial side Calciomercato.com had broken the news of a €45m offer, a figure also echoed by Pagine Romaniste, which spoke of a «total sprint» awaiting the player's yes. Sky Sport then confirmed the «huge offer» ready for West Ham.

The picture, however, is not fully settled yet. LaRoma24 stresses that the Giallorossi «hope to reach an agreement with the player between today and tomorrow» and warns that Aston Villa «remain on alert». In the last few hours Insideroma reiterated that «Roma are pushing» for the Dutchman.

Summerville remains the first choice for the Roma attack.
